Definition


Frustration is defined as a condition of humiliating disgrace or disrepute.

Every time we feel like we're surrounded by blocks inour lives, where we are continuously putting out efforts and not receiving rewards, we feel the emotion of frustration.

How frustration affect our lives


Frustration is the feeling that there is something you want in your life but you will never get it. It makes your life misserable because you are constantly putting efforts and you don't see the results. Frustration creates bitterness, resentment and anger.

Frustration affects all areas of your life because you are unhappy. It can also lead to depression because you cannot see the solution to your problems.

Frustration can be desvasteated because you feel stuck in a dead-end and you can’t find the exit. It is dangerous because most of the time a person that feels frustrated says: “I Quit and give up", and enters depression.


Steps for dealing with frustration


  • Recognize that frustration is your friend. Is an opportunity to change.
  • Get some input on how to deal with the problem or situation. Get help and brainstrom new ways to get the results you are looking for. Express your own feelings.
  • Release the anger and dissapoint you are feeling from the situation. Write down your feelings about the situation . Use any releasing technique you like. You can use Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) , Self-hypnosis Techniques , or any other that suit you the best.
  • Conclusion


    Frustration is a positive sign. It means that there is a solution, however what you are currently doing is not working. It is a message that you have to approach the situation in a different way. Frustration is a signal for you to become more flexible and to start to find different ways to do what you are doing.
